Hi, my name is Geo! I’m a handpoke tattoo artist based in Vancouver, BC. I’ve been tattooing since 2022 and I’m currently located at Bebop Ink.

Coming from a background of hand-drawn 2D animation and sound design, I found handpoke tattooing to have a very similar creative process - through repetition and intuition, a quiet monotony emerges, allowing exploration of the inner psyche in both myself and others. I like to linger here.

I’m fascinated by quantum mechanics (the smallest of the small), Einstein’s theory of general relativity (the biggest of the big), the physics of sound frequencies and how they interact with human physiology, basically all branches of philosophy, anything theoretical without bounds.

Art is my channel for ruminating these topics, synthesizing the abstract into something tangible.

Alongside all things art x science x philosophy, I love making playlists on spotify, collecting vinyls, breakfast bagels, reading Haruki Murakami, double caesars with extra horseradish, the smell of lumbar aisles at hardware stores, and crocheting for my friends.
